Join us for a nostalgic evening of ‘Exmoor on Film’ on Thursday 9 October in Dulverton Town Hall.
After a sell out evening last year, TV programme maker, David Parker, returns to Dulverton with some more old films and clips from TV programmes about the past in Exmoor and the Quantocks.
We’ll see and hear from Exmoor characters like antler carver Tom Lock; writer and artist Hope Bourne; wildlife videographer Johnny Kingdom and stag hunter Tom Yandle.
We’ll see local craftspeople at work, such as Quantocks shrimp fisherman Brendan Sellick and look back at the Bampton Fair of old (see the main image)….. and much more besides. An evening to enjoy looking back at the way we were and how we became who we are today.
Tickets are £10 per person can be purchased online HERE and from Dulverton Town Hall Thrift Shop. The bar will be open.
