Come to Dulverton All Saints’ Church on Wednesday 8th October from 7.30pm for a special evening with The Barle Singers.
The Barle Singers Autumn concert includes works not usually associated with their repertoire. Both Constant Lambert and Sir William Walton were part of the avante guard set which included the Sitwell siblings. Their music of the 1920s and 1930s was influenced by the developing jazz age and latino rhythms producing vibrant pieces. With the choir under the baton of Steven Pugsley and Gary Cooper’s expertise on the piano this should be a memorable concert. . . . something a little different.
