The wonderful community choir Voices of Exmoor presents a 24 Hour Singathon in support of the Calvert Trust, Exmoor!
A SINGATHON for CALVERT EXMOOR
The Calvert Trust has launched an Emergency Appeal for funds as they face an unprecedented financial crisis. In support of this Appeal community choir Voices of Exmoor will sing song after song for 24 hours!
WHERE? Dulverton Town Hall WHEN? Friday 30 August
Beginning with a selection of choral pieces at 6.00 pm and continuing with relays of singers until the grand finale to finish at 6.00 pm on Saturday 31st August.

What is Calvert Exmoor?
Calvert Exmoor is an accessible activity centre and charity in North Devon for people with physical, learning, behavioural, sensory or multiple complex disabilities. Working with families, schools, community groups, the team is dedicated to empowering people to unlock their full potential through outdoor adventure. Since 1996 Calvert Exmoor has been giving people the chance of a lifetime, and watching them flourish as a result.

A changing business environment , a decline in regional tourism, and inflationary pressures mean that Calvert Exmoor is now facing a serious funding crisis and has launched an appeal to raise £500,00 to secure its future.

Voices of Exmoor is a community choir which rehearses in Dulverton and gives concerts in Dulverton, and other places if invited. The Voices combine the pleasure of singing with raising money for charity, and even occasionally indulge in social events. Open to all (no auditions), we welcome new members – rehearsals are held on Monday evenings at 7.15 pm in Dulverton Town Hall.
