The ‘Secret Gardens’ of Dulverton, supported by The Bridge Inn
Visit the beautiful, small market town of Dulverton on Sunday 21 June between 10 and 4.30pm and you’ll be in for a real treat! Discover eleven of Dulverton’s private gardens open for just one day – all unique and all very different! Use the map and details provided to seek out the gardens and drop into Dulverton Town Hall for any information and light refreshments.
The event has been kindly sponsored by Dulverton’s wonderful Bridge Inn – do take a moment to visit this friendly pub and restaurant located beside the town’s historic bridge over the River Barle. You’ll discover a warm welcome, a fabulous choice of wines and beers and an exciting menu.
A generous donation from the event proceeds will be made by Dulverton Town Council to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance after the event.

Use the map provided to plan your tour around the open gardens. This map and brochure looks back at the Secret Gardens of 2024.
Tickets are £7 per person in advance (or £8.50 on the day) to include a map and brief details of each garden. Children under 16 go free. Tickets in advance will be available from Dulverton Post Office and the Tantivy.
On the day, tickets will be available in Dulverton Town Hall – where you’ll also be able to enjoy light refreshments.

Are you particularly proud of your roses, or perhaps the vegetables you grow – all types of gardens and gardeners feature in the Secret Gardens event.
If you’re a keen gardener of Dulverton – with your garden less than a 15 minute walk from the centre of town – do please get in touch with the Visit Dulverton committee via hello@visitdulverton.com. We’re always looking for new gardens to feature in this wonderful mid-summer event. Your garden doesn’t need to be like Chatsworth – small gardens, large gardens, vegetable gardens… all are very welcome!

Small gardens and large gardens feature in the Secret Gardens of Dulverton event
The Visit Dulverton committee are immensely grateful to the wide variety of keen gardeners in the town who open their gardens for this special day.
