First in a series of posts looking closely at what’s happening at the Dulverton Exmoor Literary Festival 2024…

Saturday 16 November 10.30 in Dulverton Town Hall EXMOOR FARMS: A YEAR ON THE MOOR

The Festival begins with a real treat for all those who love Exmoor.

The Exmoor Hill Farming Network and The Exmoor Society have commissioned a beautiful book, Exmoor Farms: A Year on the Moor, published this October, that charts a farming year on Exmoor in words and photographs.

Written by Exmoor farmer and writer Victoria Eveleigh, with photographs by Eleanor Davis, the project records the human stories behind Exmoor’s farmed landscape at a time of huge changes for agriculture.

A discussion about the book and farming on Exmoor will be chaired by Ian May (pictured, farmer and Chairman of the Exmoor Hill Farming Network) alongside panellists Alan Collins (farmer), Jack Buckingham (farmer) and Jane Pearn (the book’s editor).

Tickets £8 adults £4 children (under 17) available online via visitdulverton.com
