About the Event
Dulverton by Starlight in December 2024 once again brought the festive spirit to Exmoor – with shops open, a craft market, street entertainment and of course the wonderful fireworks too! The town was literally bursting with happy smiles and joyful singing from local choirs.

As always, visitors enjoyed the sparkling white lights on the Christmas trees that line the streets of this pretty moorland town. The shops and businesses were traditionally dressed for the season and many of them opened their doors to welcome people all day for Christmas shopping. The popular Indoor and Outdoor Winter Market sold local crafts, gifts and food.

Roaming entertainers kept all enthralled wherever they were in town with their pop-up performances, juggling, tricks and endless jokes. Santa was in the Heritage Centre, carols to sing along to by the Christmas tree and the ever popular fireworks silhouetted All Saints Church.

The Exmoor Game School
The Exmoor Game School is a not-for-profit community interest company that aims to reconnect children and communities with food, farming and nature. We will be at Dulverton by Starlight from 2.30 – 7pm where we will be running mini game preparation and cooking sessions using local, seasonal pheasant and partridges. Come and see us and get involved!
