Cottage Beer Project are just 3 miles from Dulverton, and recently reached our 3rd anniversary in business. We produce a range of bottle conditioned beers at our nano-brewery, in classic British styles – IPAs, dark ales, stout, pale ale and a bitter. These have proved very popular and local support is very much appreciated. Our beers can be purchased with jute bottle carriers and gift boxes too, so these make perfect gifts. Also on sale, we have our company branded metal bottle opener key rings, which we’ve found to be the most robust we’ve used.
As a young, local business, Cottage Beer Project love to support the environment within which we live, and make a contribution to CareMoor for Exmoor for every bottle of The Gatherings beer sold. We’re Partners with Exmoor National Park, officially designated as an Exmoor Plastic Free business, and are Partners of the North Devon Biosphere.

Paul Loader started Loader’s Cider as a hobby in 2015 with his son George and made some very good cider from local unwanted cider apples from old organically managed and often neglected orchards, most of which were planted and supplied the old Taunton Cider Company.
Loader’s Ciders are of the typical West Somerset type, using higher tannin but slightly lower acid varieties giving the cider a very golden colour and softness on the palate and a good apple taste.

Hello I’m Alice. Flowers and nature have always been my thing. I spent most of my childhood outside catching leaves, creating dens, petal art, and running bare foot through the grass with spiders in my hair. After my Psychology degree, I started work in a wonderfully wild florist shop – to reconnect with my artistic side, and to learn the industry. I fell in love with the wedding floristry process; the friendships formed and excitement of bringing flowery visions to life. I knew I wanted to connect deeper to the journey by growing the flowers too so off I went to train in Horticulture; learning about how, why and where a flower will be happiest. And so, armed with this knowledge, and ever enthused by the wonderment of Mother Nature, I began MeadowFolk. Where floristry and flower growing go hand in hand. Where I am able to grow flowers from seed that then become part of someone’s most magical day. Where I can create bouquets to look as if they’ve just been picked from the Meadow. And where I use flowers as a pure celebration of LOVE.

Rupert Smith is a wildlife cameraman, photographer and film maker based on Exmoor in the UK.
“Having spent most of my life growing up in the wilds of Devon, Exmoor is a place I know intimately. My wildlife photography is all with wild animals and birds and for me finding the wildlife, learning about it and respecting it is just as important as “getting the shot”. I quite often take no photographs when others would disturb an animal just to get their shot.
Through this approach all my images from Exmoor are unique and I have gained a great understanding of wildlife behaviour and appreciate the animals birds and reptiles that all have to share their space with us on the doorstep. I hope that by visiting my website, speaking with me at shows that more people can be inspired to look after what we have and maybe create something new for our wildlife to thrive in.”
